Town hall
The three-storey “Giebelbau” close to the marketplace, was built from 1594 to 1598. as office building of Count by order of the “Reichserbmarschälle”. It was built by the master builder Gilg Rigaglia.
In the original design, the building was decorated with spirals on the gable. In 1722 the building has been redesigned and garnished. In 1812 the corporate town bought the building.
The red-green façade is hold in the colours of town. Noteworthy is the boardroom, which is paneled with oak. In 1982 the building was renovated from the town Pappenheim. On its backside in “Stadtvogteigasse 1 “ today you find the “House of Guests” together with the tourist information.
